Underestimated: Books

What I read last month.

FEBRUARY

You know.. I love to read. I really do.. I think I spend at least 1/3 of my salary on books.. either their brand new or hand me downs or perhaps something I've spotted at the local old and used store.. So I figured right now since I just got new books shipped to me from Oslo, I'd tell you all what I read in February and the total page number.Maybe I'll throw in a little review... who knows...

I can't remember what order I've read them in so this is just going to be something thrown together right before I get some breakfast... haha

Lori Handeland: Blue Moon.
Original language: English
I read it in Norwegian

This book is basically a romance/action book, a police chief falls in love with a man she thinks is a werewolf, but turns out not to be. A very fun book to read when you just want something fun and easy.

Total pages:380

J.R.WARD: The Blackdagger Brotherhood book 1-6
Original language: English
I read it in English

I've already posted a little blog about the books.. I just can't get enough of those sexy vamps...*drools*

Total pages (over 6 books): 2815

J.K. Rowling: The Tales of The Beedle The Bard
Original language: English
I read it in English

Kid stories that link up to the seventh book in the Harry Potter series. Didn't really do much for me. Think this book is more of a 5+ book. But then again I'm a sucker for Harry Potter

Total pages: 105

Eric Giacometti and Jacques Ravenne: Conjuration Casanova

Original language: Unsure
I read it in Norwegian.

I didn't really feel this action/erotic/thriller book either. To messy with to many names to remember and to many statuses. Although it was well written. It was captivating near the end and I must say that I let out a gasp when I realized who the murderer was...

Total pages: 479

And then you have those that I've started but put on hold for other books:

Jane Austen: Pride and Predjudice..

There is really a long story behind why I haven't finished this book. I got it for Christmas about 2 years ago and.. well I have to admit.. It's so fucking hard to get through... I think it is because I have to look up in my dictionary for every other word I read. I had to ask for it in English didn't I?

Philippa Gregory: The other Boleyn Girl

I love to read about British history. So this book is about the Sisters Boleyn that both fell in love with King Henrik VIII. How they deceived eachother, birthed the king some children ( one who would rule England through the Golden Age) and how one of them ended up loosing her head. The reason why I haven't finished it is because this book is one of the few that I really really like and want to take some time with it.. or perhaps it's just better to see the movie.. which I did and now the book.. well the movie was shorter...

Victor Hugo: Notre Dame

Yeah.. A classic and I've just read the first page.. Sorry I don't even know what it's about because it's such an old book which I found dusted down in some hand me down shop and paid about 15 kr for. The pages are all yellowy/orange and the typing is so old that I think it's typed by one of those really old typewriters.. or wait maybe its not done by typewriter but whatever they used before that.

Stephenie Meyer: The Host

Think I've read about 20 pages or more before another book came along. I have to read this book but I just have to finish one of the others first. Haha

C.S. Lewis: The Chronicles of Narnia: the seven books in one

I've read 5 of 7 books... Give me some credit. It's a children's book and basically it's poorly translated into Norwegian...

So that's that people... I've finished reading about 3779 and have over 500pages left to read. I can't freaking wait.

So what am I reading right now?
